The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified European patent attorney in the field of Life Sciences or Chemistry to be our first attorney on the ground in our new Boston office.
Its unique! Join us to be our first representative in Boston. That means, in addition to some client work,  creating an impact on our behalf amongst the thriving Life Sciences and Chemistry community to bring us closer to our clients and contacts there.
You will be technically astute, with the ability to quickly understand any life sciences or chemistry subject matter, depending on your focus of expertise. 
It’s a new venture in Boston so you’ll be commercially-minded, hard-working and self-motivated – excited by the prospect of working with our Marketing and Business Development team to create opportunities and grow our presence there.  That means being client-focussed, and having superb communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships.  You’ll work autonomously but part of a global team and take responsibility for your own caseload.

Our ideal candidate

You will have:
  • Progressive post-qualification experience as a European Patent Attorney.
  • Stand out client-care skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously (at least initially) with the full support of our London, San Francisco and Netherlands teams.  Kilburn & Strode attorneys will visit on a frequent basis and you will have the full support of our excellent Marketing and Business Development team.
  • Great people management skills.
  • Great team skills.
