This is a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified patent attorney with a background in electronic engineering, computer science, or software to join our Tech team. We have a brilliant team of over 60 individuals who advise some very high-profile clients across all fields of technology.
This is a unique opportunity to join our team where you will be given the support and guidance to take ownership of the relationships and growth of some exciting SME tech companies that are creating truly cutting-edge technology. In turn this role will allow you real autonomy, direct UK-based client relationships, and the ability to develop your own practice to further your career. You will be supported and helped to grow in this role, as necessary, by a close team of expert practitioners. The role will also allow you to work within part of the wider Tech team for some of the firm’s prestigious large tech clients such as Cisco, Dropbox, Google, LG, and Netflix.
You must be commercially minded, hard-working, self-motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a keen interest in business development. The ability to work closely with direct clients is essential.
You will ideally have spent the early part of your career training at a private practice IP firm and have excellent experience drafting the full suite of documentation covering the patent life cycle and managing a patent portfolio.
