Joe joined Kilburn & Strode in 2017 and qualified as a UK Trade Mark Attorney in 2020. Joe has gained valuable experience coordinating global filing programmes and managing large IP portfolios. His day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clearance searches, responding to absolute grounds objections, evidence gathering and preparation and drafting arguments for use in contentious proceedings. Joe advises clients in a broad range of sectors including aviation, media and creative, pharma and fintech.
 
Joe graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA in Philosophy, where he had a particularly interest in political philosophy. He then went on to complete a law conversion course at the University of Law in London, which included a research project focussed on the effects of harmonised EU law on competition.
