Josh joined Kilburn & Strode in October 2018 as a Trainee Patent Attorney in the Engineering group and is currently training to become a UK and European patent attorney.
Josh graduated with a Meng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University in 2015 and went on to complete a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Sheffield in 2019, where his research focussed on the role of liquid bridges in particle coating processes as part of a joint venture between Sheffield University’s Particle Technology Group and an international consumer goods corporation.
As part of his undergraduate studies, Josh completed a research project at Monash University, Melbourne, on the mechanisms of nucleation distribution for the purposes of industrial granulation. He also later completed a year working for one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies in their production engineering team.
