Karan Kapoor

Trainee Patent Attorney

Karan graduated from Imperial College London in 2018 with a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering and a recipient of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers Undergraduate Scholarship. His final year project was in association with an automobile start-up exploring pulse arc weld strength optimisation as applied to the manufacture of hybrid vehicle battery packs.
During his education, Karan also collaborated with City, University of London on designing and manufacturing a prototype model of three-wheeled taxi vehicles be used in Sub-Saharan Africa. He also has experience in building services, having worked for an international building design consultancy where he completed energy optimisation simulations to make buildings more environmentally and commercially sustainable.
Karan joined the Kilburn & Strode Engineering Group in October 2018 and is currently training to become a UK and European patent attorney.
