Kerry graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2013 with an MEng in Mechanical Engineering (Distinction), including a year studying abroad at Louisiana State University. Kerry completed two university projects during her degree, creating an innovative solution for eye drop administration and a testing concept for mobility seating.
Kerry completed two summer internships within the Biomedical Engineering department while at university. She carried out stress analysis on the residual limbs of below-knee amputees and created a finite element analysis model for the verification of physical testing methods of lower limb prosthetic sockets.
Kerry has gained industry experience with a major manufacturer of jet engines, specialising in the development of Maintenance and Overhaul methods. She has also spent time working in the airline industry, providing on-wing engine support and asset management for a regional airline.
Kerry joined Kilburn & Strode in October 2021 and is currently working as a Trainee Patent Attorney in our Engineering Group.
