Lloyd gained his MSci in Theoretical Physics with Mathematics from Lancaster University. He also spent a year studying at Purdue University in the USA. His Master’s project concerned Topological Photonics, more specifically modelling photonic waveguide arrays, and he also has some expertise in quantum computing and transport, and atomic physics.
Lloyd has experience with varied work for a broad range of clients, including handling patent prosecution for multi-national telecommunications and aerospace companies and patent drafting and prosecution for various clients dealing with topics such as detector technology, vehicle automation and authentication software.
He joined Kilburn & Strode in October 2019, having begun his career at a different firm, and is currently working as a Trainee Patent Attorney in the Tech group.
