Stephanie Stevenson-Smit

Trainee Patent Attorney

Stephanie has a broad technical background in condensed matter physics and medical physics, with expertise in nanotechnology, optics, electronics, and magnetic materials.

Following her BSc and MSc degrees in Physics and Medical Physics, Stephanie was awarded her PhD from ETH Zurich, for which she carried out research into magnetisation dynamics and switching. Her work has led to several publications, including in the journals Nanotechnology and Nature Communications.
 
Stephanie has also worked for peer review materials science and physics journals in Germany, and speaks conversational German.
 
As part of Kilburn and Strode’s commitment to social and corporate responsibility, Stephanie is a STEM Ambassador and works with schools in and around London to promote STEM subjects and inspire young learners.
