Kilburn & Strode support International Women’s Day 2017 #beboldforchange

In the past year, Kilburn & Strode women have made strides both in their careers and their personal lives. Our women have celebrated many professional achievements. To name a few; Sharon Kirby (Senior Associate) achieved the top mark in the UK Higher Courts Litigation course, Alexandra Seymour-Pierce (Patent Attorney Assistant) won the GSK price for excellence in Patents from Queen Mary University of London and Deborah Byard (Administrator) received a Microsoft Certificate of Achievement. We have also worked with numerous colleagues, including two Partners, during maternity leave transitions and are proud to support part-time, flexible working arrangements.

Partner, Kristina Cornish, comments ‘I am proud of the quality and strength of the women I work with at Kilburn & Strode - from those within the partnership, to colleagues and to clients. We support our colleagues in a variety of ways such as memberships of women’s networking groups, our STEM Ambassador commitment, social corporate opportunities, flexible working and innovative wellbeing activities such aerial yoga and 'take back your lunch' month. From within our partnership and with the support and advice of our excellent HR team, the firm is committed to helping forge a better working world - a more gender inclusive world’.

Kilburn & Strode is committed to a diverse and equal workplace. We are proud of our involvement with IP Inclusive, our social responsibility and wellbeing strategy. We will continue to promote, develop and admire our women. #beboldforchange
