Our difference

Simply put, it’s the people and the service

We’re one of Europe’s leading firms of patent and trade mark attorneys. In many ways, we’re like other top-tier firms: we hire the best people and we do excellent work for the world’s best organisations – companies like Aston Martin, Boeing, and Cisco. But we bring something more.

Just like any other business, this sector is about relationships – making them, looking after them and strengthening them. It’s a people business. For that reason, we go to greater lengths than other firms to find and look after the right kind of people – clever people, certainly, but just as important is their ability to get on with others, to enjoy making relationships, and to provide a stellar service to clients.

That’s not always something that comes naturally to us scientists and engineers, but we think it’s vital.

The best place to work (and the best team to work with)

Everything flows from our people: really understanding our clients’ points-of-view to give them an excellent experience, creating a friendly and innovative culture where like-minded people want to train and work, and obsessing over the detail. That’s the personality of our firm and what, we believe, makes us different.

That extra touch

In addition, we love to go the extra mile. How are we at giving back? Check out our Innovation for All Foundation. For culture? We’re a ‘2 star company’ in The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work survey. Or client service? We opened a liaison office in San Francisco to help our US clients finally kill those 6am conference calls to London.

The list goes on, but why not just talk to us and hear about it in person? We’d love to connect.

I receive nothing but exemplary service and support from the firm. The advice we receive from them has helped shape our future for the better.
