Ann McCrackin

Adjunct Professor, University of New Hampshire, Franklin Pierce School of Law

Ann McCrackin is an expert in AI for IP teams. She is the founder of AI-Enabled Attorney LLC, a consulting and training company that helps IP professionals effectively adopt AI technologies and advances AI literacy within the legal profession. Her expertise stems from over 10 years of streamlining IP processes with AI as the founding President of Black Hills IP, a legal technology company.
 
She also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, where she teaches patent prosecution and shares her knowledge of the evolving role of technology in the IP practice. Ann's background also includes over 25 years as a patent attorney, including a period as a shareholder, at Schwegman, Lundberg & Woessner, P.A. 
 
A recognized thought leader in legal technology, Ann is frequently invited to speak at conferences and workshops on the integration of AI in law. At the Broad Institute's 2024 Biotech IP Summit, she will be leading a roundtable discussion on "Chat What? - Strategies for Responsible Internal Use of AI."
