Bence Dallos

Bence is a Trainee Patent Attorney in our Life Science & Chemistry group at Kilburn & Strode, training to become a Dutch and European Patent Attorney.
 
Bence holds a diverse academic background having graduated from Imperial College London with a first class in BSc Chemistry with Management. For his graduation project he investigated recycling 4th generation refrigerant gases using palladium complexes. Following his bachelor studies, he went on to study MSc Forensic Science at the University of Amsterdam. There he specialised in forensic analytical chemistry, probing distinguishing marker compounds for chlorine gas and bleach exposure in concrete samples as a final year research project.
 
His wide interdisciplinary background has provided him with in-depth knowledge on spectroscopical techniques and their applications as part of specialised topics in the domain of environmental, biological as well as forensic chemistry. Bence has a keen interest in organic chemistry, having enjoyed understanding the reaction mechanisms of chemical reactions governing our everyday lives.
 
Outside of work, Bence greatly enjoys long-distance running and watching motorsports. He speaks English, Dutch, Italian and Hungarian.
