Justine is a dual qualified UK Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and Solicitor with the valuable experience of having worked in both industry and private practice.

Justine advises on all aspects of brand protection, including trade mark clearance, registration, enforcement and commercial exploitation (such as the licensing and sale of marks). She has extensive experience of handling and managing disputes, including oppositions, cancellation and infringement claims. She also advises on alternative dispute resolution matters, such as negotiating and drafting settlements and coexistence agreements, always aiming to secure favourable, commercially-appropriate outcomes for her clients.

She works with clients of all sizes and across a wide range of sectors, but has particular experience in the automotive, FMCG, sport and media / broadcasting industries.

Before returning to private practice, Justine spent a couple of years working in-house at a leading multinational corporation, supporting the business in multi-jurisdictional IP clearance, protection and enforcement strategies. Her experience of advising a business operating in a highly regulated and complex commercial environment has proved invaluable on her return to private practice. She understands first-hand the importance of providing clients with pragmatic, genuinely business-focussed advice, enabling them to make the right decisions when adopting new brands or dealing with enforcement matters.
