Founding Partner, O&R Patent Law

Robin Rohlicek is a founding partner of O&R Patent Law. He earned BS, MS, and PhD degrees from MIT in EECS, with graduate work in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Robin worked a decade in DoD R&D and in early-stage ventures, publishing over 40 peer-reviewed articles in statistical speech recognition and related areas of machine learning. For over 25 years in the legal profession, Robin has been retained by major academic and commercial clients to build their global patent portfolios. He applies his deep technical background to advise clients in how to protect their AI-based innovations, including how to assess strategic issues in a rapidly changing technical and legal environment.
