Scott Chapple has been a patent attorney for over 20 years.  He has spent 15+ years working for Novartis Pharmaceutical Corporation and Alcon Corporation with 8 of those years heading the ophthalmology and pharmaceutical franchises of those companies.  Within the last couple of years, he joined FIG. 1, a patent law firm with deep experience in artificial intelligence.  Scott enjoys helping pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies, and start-ups protect their innovations as they use AI and ML systems to enhance the discovery, development, manufacture, launch and further improvement of medications and treatments.  Scott has a BSChE from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI and a JD from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, MI.  In his free time, Scott enjoys pickleball and exercise.  Scott is married and has a son and two daughters.
