The European Patent Office (EPO) has announced a Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) pilot scheme with the Russian patent office. Information on the scheme can be found here.
There is no fee associated with requesting acceleration under the scheme. It will be interesting to see how widely this scheme is used and how this compares with PPH schemes the EPO has with other patent offices.
