Adam graduated with an LLB (Hons) from the University of Aberdeen. In the final year of his undergraduate degree, he wrote his dissertation on the law of copyright and its role in the promotion of creativity within the music industry.
Following this, Adam enrolled in an LLM in Intellectual Property Law, also at the University of Aberdeen. There, he spent time engaging in a professional skills course, which gave insight into the life cycle of trade marks and patents through the eyes of the legal representative of a fictional startup. This exposure inspired Adam to pursue a career as a trade mark attorney.
In his personal time, Adam has a keen interest in football, rugby, and cooking, as well as music production. It is through this that he had his first exposure to intellectual property law via the licensing and clearing of audio samples whilst still in secondary school.
