After graduating with an LLB (Hons) from the University of Kent, Asma completed an LLM in Media Law at Queen Mary University of London. Her Masters research focused on the ownership of virtual property and in-game creations in massively multiplayer online role-playing games and the role of End User License Agreements in governing the same. She later went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at BPP University, with an emphasis on intellectual property and commercial law.

Before entering the profession, Asma was the Head of Research at a trademark and patent market intelligence platform, where she conducted high-level qualitative research and analysis of IP markets across Europe and the Middle East.

Through her educational and practical experience, Asma gained a solid understanding of the trade mark lifecycle and combines her skill set with a fluency in Czech and Slovak to assist clients across a variety of industries.

Asma is also passionate about improving diversity in the legal sector and is the Vice-Chair of BVL, a youth empowerment charity, which seeks to give young people from non-fee paying schools a voice in law and legal policy with the aim of improving social mobility in the profession. The charity is supported by, but independent from, the UK Supreme Court
