Tomos‘ patent practice focuses on medical and healthcare technology, alongside telecommunications and networking technology.  He is particularly experienced in drafting, prosecution, and acquisition-related transfer of patents for clients whose IP forms a core part of their business.

Following an industry-sponsored PhD in optoelectronics, Tomos worked in the commercial spacecraft industry prior to becoming a patent attorney – experience which helps him work closely alongside inventors and in-house counsel at all stages of product development, including the filing and prosecution of patent applications across multiple jurisdictions.
