Kilburn & Strode’s Trade marks team stays on growth trajectory with the hire of new attorn

Since opening its office in Hilversum at the start of 2019 (as reported here), the team, led by partner Claudia Festen, has gone from strength to strength.

Kilburn & Strode’s Dutch team provides clients with deep expertise in trade mark clearance and prosecution, portfolio management, anti-counterfeiting, copyright, designs and enforcement. Dutch native Ingrid Roeterink is the latest external hire following patent attorney Barbara Durling who joined the team earlier in 2019. In July 2020, patent attorney Rosie Carrie relocated from the firm’s HQ in London to Hilversum. This reflects the firm’s ambitious growth plans.

Ingrid is an experienced trade mark attorney with over 15 years of success across multiple sectors, notably retail, (sports)clothing and fashion, entertainment, confectionery, media/publishing and business services. She has experience in managing large IP portfolio’s, conducting clearance searches and handling conflicts (including oppositions and cancellations in Benelux and EU, negotiating settlements, drafting agreements, domain name dispute procedures).

I am delighted Ingrid has joined Kilburn & Strode. With her personality and expertise in both EU and Benelux matters she makes a great addition to our growing team.” Claudia Festen, Partner
