Media Release: Kilburn & Strode is delighted to announce the appointment of Frodo Ferro as Partner in the firm’s Tech practice group in the Netherlands. Frodo joins Kilburn & Strode from another top tier European IP firm, where he ran the Benelux operations.
Frodo also brings over a decade of in-house experience, having managed the European IP department of one of the world’s largest semiconductor companies at the time.
Building on key strategic partner hire investments in 2021
Frodo’s appointment follows a continued spree of other partner hire investments in 2021. Most recently, the firm announced that Peter Gray (Tech, London) joined the partnership, as did Jo Bradley (Life Sciences & Chemistry, London and Edinburgh), Rowena Tolley (Trade marks, London) and Rike Dekker (Life Sciences & Chemistry, Maastricht).
Dutch national Frodo is the first Tech partner to join the firm in the Netherlands, where the firm continues to grow the team of top-tier attorneys and support staff. Frodo’s hire sets a clear signal of the firm’s expansion of their Dutch offering by adding litigation and licensing capabilities, and excellent semiconductor experience.
The Tech team has been on a long-term growth trajectory that has kept up with the growth spurt of the firm’s overall success.
