Another independent publication has been released highlighting the strength of our teams across the firm. After months of research and client interviews, the publication has released the analysis of our firm.
Patents
This year, Managing IP's 'IP Stars' ranks us top-tier for patent prosecution and focuses on our firm's strategic growth. They point to our new office in Munich, which can serve as a base for us and clients when we are ‘delivering outstanding results in terms of obtaining and defending key patents’.
To ensure we continuously grow and improve, we know we need to keep bringing in quality people to work with us. Our commitment to getting the right people on our team has been commended with a client remarking that we invest ‘a great deal of effort into recruiting highly able young attorneys’.
This emphasises that, from top to bottom, all our people have technical expertise and business insight. The consistency with which we offer strategic and quality advice is highlighted again this year. Our extensive list of partners noted includes Nick Bassil, Kristina Cornish, Richard Howson, Gwilym Roberts, Tim Copsey, Alexander Korenberg, Jim Miller, Elizabeth Crooks, Kathryn Eldridge and Thomas Leonard.
As for our billing, we think being recognised as offering ‘transparent and accurate costs’ is something to be proud of.
Trade marks and designs
Our trade marks team is well known for working in a trusted partnership with those they advise. Doing good work means you get more work. So, again, in this year’s publication our team was recognised for our impressive client list and as being ‘one of the busiest trade mark practices in the UK’.
We also know the importance of clarity in our advice. Carrollanne Lindleyis noted for being ‘always clear and concise and a business partner’. We have three trade mark stars listed: Carrollanne Lindley, Iain Stewart and Ryan Pixton. Each of them working for huge global brands and, as a team, ‘always going the extra mile’. Senior Associate, Sharon Kirby, was also noted as a rising star.
On the designs front, Partner Robin Lloyd is recognised as a key player to be watched.
