Kilburn & Strode welcome 11 Trainee Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys and launch Paralegal Academy

With backgrounds in Aerospace Engineering, Medical Imaging, Cancer Research, Cell and Gene Therapy and at the United Nations, this year’s group is one of our most diverse. Crossing a range of sectors and functional expertise, we’re very proud to announce the arrival of our new trainee attorneys. We are also excited to launch our new Paralegal Academy which saw us hire four IP Paralegals into the firm.

In the Life Sciences and Chemistry group we welcome Matthew Aldridge and Johanna Viluma. The Tech team welcomes Sinéad Donaghy, Kerem Halil Shah, Ioana Hill, Kulraj Singh Bhangra, Alessio Incitti and Alexander Crew. The Trade Mark team welcomes Fernando Di Blasi and Ruby Vinsome. Last, but certainly not least, Josh McLennon has joined the Engineering team.

Director of Human Resources, Jonathan Clarke, has commented saying: ‘Hiring our graduate intake is a real team effort. We spend a lot of time in search of people who share our values and I am personally delighted to welcome them all.’

The Paralegal Academy welcomes Giannis Rocopos, Christina Frame, Lewis Byrom and Maisie Norwood. Emma Frost, Paralegal Academy Manager, commented on the launch of our Academy saying: ‘This year we’re excited to launch our new Paralegal Academy. We’re pleased to have four fantastic IP Paralegal trainees joining this new programme as part of our 2019 trainee intake. We’re expecting great things from them all!’

Managing Partner, Richard Howson, adds ‘a big welcome to our 11 new trainees and four Paralegals - our largest annual intake! From meeting them, it’s clear they’re all very, very smart. That’s great. But I’m delighted also to find them warm, engaging and fun. Part of what makes this firm different is that we enjoy really getting to know our clients, their needs and their businesses. By forming that strong relationship, we bring so much more.’

We look forward to working with our new trainees and paralegals and see them develop and grow their skills to ensure they can achieve their full potential in their chosen professions.
