The firm welcomes 11 new Trainee Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys

With backgrounds in commercial spacecraft manufacturing, Alzheimer’s disease research and vehicle design for use in Sub-Saharan Africa to in-house roles at luxury brands and major pharmaceutical companies, this year’s group is one of our most diverse. Crossing a range of sectors and functional expertise, we’re very proud to announce the arrival of our new trainee attorneys.

In the Life Sciences and Chemistry group we welcome Sam Bailey, Jessica Duncombe, Kate Morgan and Mehreen Sattar. In Electronics and IT we welcome Rachel Connolly, Mabel Lew, Farnaz Massoumian and Tomos Thomas. We welcome Joshua Green and Karan Kapoor to the Engineering team and Lucy Smyton to the Trade Marks team.

Kristina Cornish, Partner says ‘This Autumn we welcome 11 new graduates and post-graduates to our patent and trademark attorney training roles. They have excelled and impressed in order to join the firm and we welcome them to our thriving community.  We value what they bring as individuals and look forward to the firm growing with them as they embark on their new careers with us.’

Jonathan Clarke, Director of Human Resources also commented on our recruitment process saying ‘so many of us have been involved in attracting, interviewing and inducting them. It’s an annual cycle that we love – out and about on University Campus, leading up to our assessment day to then finally welcoming them in October. It is great to have them settled in and already getting involved in some interesting case work.’

We are looking forward to working with them to develop their skills as they train to become qualified patent and trade mark attorneys.
